A pozíció áttekintése
Lelkes és elkötelezett matematika tanárt keresünk nemzetközi tanári csapatunkba. A sikeres jelölt feladata lesz a 5–8. osztályosok magyar nyelven történő matematika oktatása, valamint a tanulók szociális és érzelmi fejlődésének támogatása. Jelenleg heti 16 tanítási óra van.

Főbb feladatok

Az ISB tantervével és a nemzetközi szabványokkal összhangban vonzó órákat tervez, előkészít és tart.
Olyan pozitív, befogadó és biztonságos osztálytermi környezetet teremt, amely ösztönzi az aktív tanulást és a személyes fejlődést.
Figyelemmel kíséri és értékeli a diákok fejlődését, rendszeres visszajelzést adva a diákoknak és a szülőknek.
Differenciált oktatást alkalmaz a diákok változatos tanulási igényeinek kielégítése érdekében.
Együttműködés a kollégákkal és az iskola vezetésével a diákok tanulásának és az iskolai kezdeményezések támogatására.
Kommunikáció a szülőkkel az iskola értékeinek megfelelően.
Aktív részvétel a tantestületi értekezleteken, a szakmai továbbképzéseken és az eseményeken.

Követelmények

BA diploma oktatási területen (vagy kapcsolódó területről).
Kiváló írásbeli és szóbeli angol nyelvtudás.
A tanítás iránti szenvedély és elkötelezettség a diákközpontú tanulás iránt.
Képesség a sokszínű csapaton belüli együttműködésre.

Előnyök

Position Overview
The International School of Budapest (ISB) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and collaborative English teacher to join our Secondary School from August 2026. The successful candidate will teach IB Diploma Programme English A: Language and Literature, IGCSE First Language English, and Lower Secondary English within our international curriculum framework. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Teach engaging and challenging lessons in IB English A: Language and Literature, IGCSE First Language English, and English at the Cambridge Lower Secondary level. 

• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and appreciation for literature and language. 

• Develop and assess student work in alignment with IB and Cambridge standards. 

• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in collaborative planning with the English department. 

• Support the holistic development of students within an inclusive, international community. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, English Education, or a related field. 

• Teaching qualification and a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience. 

• Experience teaching IB Diploma and/or IGCSE programmes preferred. 

• A demonstrated commitment to inquiry-based learning, student well-being, and intercultural understanding. 
• Excellent written and spoken English required.

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons across the IB, IGCSE, and Middle School science curricula.

• Encourage students to apply scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and experimentation to real-world contexts. 

• Collaborate with colleagues within the Science Department on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physics, Science Education, or a closely related field. 

• Recognized teaching qualification and a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
