Mr. Márton Jeszenszky in Istanbul

“At the beginning of November, I had the opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ course called “Supporting Diversity with Intercultural Education” in Istanbul, where we explored ways to be more conscious of diversity in our classrooms and teaching practice, creating a learning environment where all students feel secure and heard, which is fundamental for me as a subject teacher and a homeroom teacher as well. We had an amazing team, so one of the best parts was sharing experiences with other teachers from Italy, Poland, Croatia, and Spain, and learning about how inclusion and equity-based best practices work in other countries. And of course, we also had some time to discover some amazing bits of Turkish culture and cuisine along the way. I can’t wait to put all the things I learned into practice in my day-to-day work at ISB.” – Márton Jeszenszky
