Our Services
The campus of the International School of Budapest is located in a calm and leafy complex in the heart of the bustling District 11, near Kopaszi gát and Tüskecsarnok, one of the most modern sports complexes in Hungary. The campus is well connected to many areas of the city, making it easily accessible for parents, and also convenient for students and staff who travel via public transportation. The modern school buildings with well-equipped classrooms have an enclosed courtyard with large, established trees. Of course, only a visit to our campus will be able to give you the whole picture of all the wonderful things and people that we have here in our school.
The school is equipped with all the facilities and equipment necessary to meet the requirements of quality education. ISB consists of two buildings. Building A accommodates the preparatory and primary school children on the lower floors and the secondary school students on the upper floor. It also provides a convenient learning environment for lessons that require special equipment (e.g., music, art, science, etc.). In Building H on the first floor our library is located along with the office area.
Catering
Catering for the children is provided by a school catering company (Delirest Kft.) and consists of morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks for the pupils. When planning and preparing the meals special emphasis is placed on a healthy diet. The restaurant strives to provide balanced menus, to encourage the consumption of fruits and vegetables and to reduce excess salt, white flour and refined sugar. The children can choose between multiple options daily so that everyone can find an attractive dish at all times.
Parking
Parking is free for ISB parents within the territory of the campus. However, we have limited number of parking spaces. For that reason, we ask parents to make use of the drop-off system. It is also important that parents do not make use of the parking spaces allocated for other campus tenants’ use.
Security
Entry into the territory of our campus is controlled by the manned main entrance gate. In the school building security cameras monitor the students and visitors during the day and view our outside playground and the areas in front of our buildings.
School Bus
We have our own school bus service that runs on a designated route from Normafa to ISB, stopping twice along the way.
