From May 18 to 22, 2026, our school had the pleasure of hosting two guest teachers from Slovenia, Lucia and Katja.

Both work as special education teachers in their school’s primary section and traveled to Budapest as part of an Erasmus+ mobility project. This collaboration stems from autumn 2025, when their Erasmus coordinator met our colleague, Ms Dóra Kovács, at a teacher training course in Athens. Their project titled “The Heart of the Future Beats in Compassionate Youth”, focuses on supporting young learners with special educational needs and learning difficulties during their early years of schooling.

During their stay Lucia and Katja observed lessons and received a comprehensive introduction to the Hungarian education sístem and our school’s bilingual and international programs. We all thoroughly enjoyed exchanging insights, engaging in fruitful professional discussions, and planning future collaborations together!
