On the first day, 1st September, it will be a normal school day. All students are required to bring 1 clean mask with them, please. Parents are requested to drop off and pick up their children as follows:
Elementary School:
8:00-8:15 Student Drop Off and Meet the Teacher
Prep and Grade 1 – Small Garden (In case of Inclement weather, ONE parent wearing a MASK may enter the Main Building and bring their child up to their classroom for the first two weeks.)
Grade 2, 3, and 4 – Big Garden (In case of Inclement weather, ONE parent wearing a MASK may enter the Main Building on the first day to help the child find their classroom.)
Pickup times:
14:45-15:15: Preparatory and Grade 1 – Small Garden Grade 2, 3, and 4 – Big Garden (In case of Inclement weather, students will remain in their classrooms and will come down to the aula in a rota. We ask that year group by year group only ONE parent enter the building, wearing a MASK.)
After school supervision is provided between 15:15-17:00
Middle & High School:
8:00-8:15 – Student Drop Off
Grade 5 – In the grassy area outside Pavilion 5. Teachers will meet the students outside.
Grade 6 to 8 – Drop off outside Pavilion 5 and students will enter the building by themselves in regulated groups. Grade 7 to enter from the entrance with the iron grill, and Grade 6 and Grade 8 from the other entrance.
Grade 9 to 11 – Drop off outside Pavilion 7 and students will enter the building by themselves.
Pickup times:
15:00-15:30: Outside Pavilion 5
Lessons will end 15 minutes earlier to enable a staggered release. Students will be released in the following order
Grade 5 and 6: Between 15:00 and 15:15
Grade 7 and 8: Between 15:15 and 15:30
Grade 9 and 10: Between 15:00 and 15:15
Grade preIB and 11: Between 15:15 and 15:30
After school supervision is provided between 15:30-17:00 as per requests.
Welcome Assemblies for the students will be held in small groups during the morning lessons on the football pitch. Dress code (as previously advised by the Vice Principals): formal ISB uniform or white top and dark trousers/skirts.
