The International School of Budapest lies in an ideal environment for children, out in the fresh air, separated from cars and street traffic, on the territory of the Csillebérc Leisure Centre (Csillebérci Szabadidőközpont) in the Normafa region in the Buda hills in district 12 of Budapest. The children enjoy the woodland environment and the advantages of the lowest air pollution level in the city. The school can be easily accessed from the city centre both by public transport and by car.

The school is equipped with all the facilities and equipment that is necessary to meet the requirements of quality education. ISB consists of four buildings. The main building is for preparatory and primary school children and three separate pavilions accommodate the secondary school pupils as well as providing convenient learning environment for lessons that require special equipments (e.g. music, art, IT etc.).

Catering for the children is provided by the school and consists of morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks for the pupils. When planning and preparing the meals special emphasis is placed on a healthy diet. The restaurant strives to provide balanced menus, to encourage the consumption of fruits and vegetables and to reduce excess salt, white flour and refined sugar. The children can choose between two menus daily so that everyone can find an attractive dish at all times.


Parking is free for ISB parents within the territory of Csillebérc Leisure Centre in front of and close by the school.


Entry into the territory of Csillebérc Leisure Centre is allowed only by an entry permit issued by the school and the Centres operator. This is controlled by the manned main entrance gate. In the school building a security guard monitors the students and visitors during the day. Security cameras view our outside playground and the areas in front of our buildings.
